Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to get and compare solar quotes on SunBid, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control or other assistive technology. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What we do
- Use semantic page structure, headings and labels, so pages make sense to screen readers.
- Make every control reachable and usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Keep text contrast at or above WCAG AA levels and let pages zoom to 200% without losing content.
- Announce status changes, like "measuring your roof," to assistive technology.
- Respect your device's reduced-motion setting by turning off decorative animation.
- Describe roof imagery and measurements in text, so you don't need to see the image to use the results.
Known limitations
Satellite imagery and the roof outline drawn on it are visual by nature. We provide the same measurements in text and let you adjust them with standard form fields. Some third-party content, like map imagery, comes from our providers and may not fully meet our goals. We review the site regularly and fix issues as we find them.
Need help or found a problem?
If anything on SunBid is hard to use, tell us and we'll help you get your quotes another way. Email support@sunbid.energy and include the page and what happened. We aim to respond within two business days.
